So thankful to enjoy the sun setting over the valley in Cappadocia and one of her sweet villages.

Another ancient city. It never gets dull to me. I find myself amazed at the fountains and arches and gates and walls I imagine the people and how they are not so different from us. I see the creativity, abundance and the generosity of God in the stones and walkways and ruts in the roads made by chariots. So much the same and yet different. In need of safety so they built walls, they needed water so they built aqueducts, fountains, underground cisterns and canals, they desired beauty so they made art. We too build walls, roads, cisterns and need art to make life beautiful. Really not much has changed just a different time and place, for more pic check out my story. .

Walking the footsteps of the apostles is humbling and awe-inspiring. Turkey is really just a huge museum jam packed with beauty, history and wonderful people. Today we spent the day in Heropolis where Cleopatra, the original badass woman who rocked her world, bathed in the pools at Pamukkale and the Apostle Phillip was martyred. Heropolis was a huge metropolis in its day. The back end of the city has the largest necropolis (tombs and cemetery) in all of Asia Minor a sobering reminder of the cycle of life and to enjoy each moment we have here on planet earth and while we’re at it to make a difference whenever we can. . . . .
